The holidays are a very special time of year for everyone. Families come together, smiles and laughter are around each corner, excitement is in the air, homes are being elaborately decorated with lights and treasures are passed down from generation to generation. We all have childhood memories of our neighborhoods coming alive with color and magic. It never really seemed like the holidays were coming until the trees were strung with lights or the neighborhood displays were up for all to see. Heartspring is home to many children with special needs from all over the world, some of whom rarely get home to see their families and share in the magic of the season with their loved ones. Lights on the Lake brings lights, festive decorations and dozens of lighted holiday displays to Heartspring’s beautiful campus each year. Drive Thru and Hospitality Center InformationThe Lights on the Lake Drive Thru will be open Thursday through Sunday evenings November 27 - December 7. The Drive Thru will also be open every night December 11 - 25. There is no charge for the drive thru but donations are encouraged and will help provide therapies and resources to the children of Heartspring and their families. Please enter the drive thru from the 29th Street entrance. Drive thru hours are 6 pm - 10 pm. View a calendar of Drive Thru dates, pending inclement weather (see below). Visit with Santa at the Lights on the Lake Hospitality Center, which will be open to the public Dec. 5-7, 12-14 and 19-21 from 6:00-9:00 PM. Photos with Santa are available for a $3 donation. Come in out of the cold and enjoy cookies and hot drinks while you wait your turn to tell Santa what to put in your stocking this year! 2008 Drive Thru Schedule (open 6 – 10 p.m. on the following dates):
