Lights on the Lake is Wichita’s premiere holiday light event that transforms the Heartspring campus to the delight of children and adults everywhere. Since opening Lights on the Lake as a drive thru in 2005, almost 50,000 holiday light enthusiasts have visited the Heartspring campus to gaze at the thousands of lights, dozens of colorful displays and hundreds of lit candy canes.
Lights on the Lake 2007 Wrap Up
The efforts of dedicated sponsors, volunteers and staff once again led to a record-breaking year for Heartspring’s Lights on the Lake. A total of $120,000, including the AXA Advisors, LLC $30,000 presenting sponsorship from Gift on the Greens, was raised to help provide local children and their families with much needed therapies and resources. Between November 17 and December 25, nearly 5,000 cars visited the Heartspring campus for the Lights on the Lake drive thru. Volunteers spent over 1,200 hours installing the lights and staffing the 27 nights the drive thru was open. Thank you to everyone that made this event possible.
